Worldly influences can weaken our spiritual foundation. Paul: They know that they can do all things through Christ. What does it mean to be anchored to Christ?
A study of Christ will improve behavior faster than a study of behavior will.

Pres. Nelson – Now is the time to prioritize the Lord. Every sincere seeker of truth will find God in the temple. ** Start going to the temple bi-weekly. **
The woman of samaraia (at the well) likely went to the well at the hottest part of the day to avoid seeing other people. Because she had 5 husbands. In the same way, a lot of us tend to avoid people when we’re struggling in life and not doing well. But Christ talked to this lady first – He would do the same for us.
Because I remembered, I was able to feel the Spirit again.
The Savior’s job is to heal us. Our job is to love others so others feel that healing. In the ordinances of the priesthood, the power of God is manifest.

All men will stand before God to be judged by Him. Immorality is one of the fastest ways to lose your testimony. Public opinion is not the arbitrator of truth. In the scriptures, poverty was not the opposite for prosperity – being cut off from God was.
Most people looking for happiness are missing the mark. God should be the priority of your life, not just one of them.
ERYING
Struggles can be gifts from the Lord. They allow us to lean on God. The greatest example of proving is from Jesus Christ Himself. One day, we will see those very trials are evidence of God’s love and stand with Him in His glory.
SUNDAY AFTERNOON SESSION
BEDNAR
Moral agency = ability to choose and act for ourselves in ways that are good. We are commanded to use our agency, not just encouraged. The gospel invites us to know something and become something.
The Judgement Day is not a sum total of our good and evil acts. But rather, what we have become. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, all men may be saved.
Godly fear brings peace & confidence. In the Lord’s presence, we will acknowledge what we have chosen to become.

A testimony of the fall should help us be more like God. I will pay for what I have vowed. Relief is not found in sailing away from your spiritual responsibilities. You can find joy, even in the midst of your crucible.
Joy comes from and because of Him.

The joy of our lives comes little from the circumstances of our lives and everything with focus.

Follow God’s recipe. We at times think our ingredients aren’t good enough or we do something out of order. What’s the remedy? Just add more Jesus Christ in your life.
Small and simple things are great things brought to pass.
