Doubting Thomas

Picture you’re Thomas.

You watched as lepers were healed, the lame took their first steps, and the dead were raised to life. And you weren’t just a witness – you were changed. His love rewrote everything you thought you knew. This wasn’t just truth – it was everything. You were sure you’d never waver.

Then came the cross. The nails. The silence.

For days, you sat in darkness, replaying every miracle, every promise. If He was truly the Messiah, why had He left you? How could you have been so blind?

But then – He was there. Alive. Scarred. Standing before you.

Your heart raced. You wanted to fall at His feet. But the last time you had dared to hope, it had ended in a tomb. What if your heart was betraying you again?

Jesus didn’t rebuke you. Instead, He met your doubt with love and entrusted you with His greatest mission – to carry His gospel to the ends of the earth.

Because faith wasn’t built on certainty – it was built on scars. On trembling hands reaching forward, discovering He had been there all along.
